Welcome back everyone; I've got some tips about How to make a house party for you tonight. Sometime, people feel bored to hang outside the house and drink; they prefer a private party to avoid a massive wave of crowd and enjoy this special day with their “ FRIENDS”. From my experiences, some house parties could be bored or failed if the hosts didn’t have a good plan and didn’t prepare well. Normally, most of them do it. So, to make an effective house party is not difficult if you follow my following steps.
1) How many people will come to your party?
You need to know about this number in order to prepare most of the things
2) Don’t forget to tell your friends about the event’s date in advance because some of them will not free if you tell them one or two days before the party night.
3) Confirmation is needed
Before the party night, you should make sure that your friends would come.
4) Check for the date properly
You need to choose the date properly because the transportation will be effected by the date such as public holiday, which has fewer buses than others. This is one of the most critical issues that make people don’t want to join the party.
5) Check the transportation schedules when to come to your house and when to get off from your house. This step can also solve the problem in step number four.
6) You have to know whether you are going to cook the dinner or not because there is a big difference between them. If you are not going to cook, let the guests know.
7) Don’t forget to tell your friends to “BYO” due to the culture here.
Importantly, trust me, some of them will come to your party with the bare hand which mean you have to think about this outcome in advance; as the result, buy some spare alcohols if you don’t want to kill your party in the middle of the night!!
8) Buying alcohols
You have to know what kind of alcohols you are going to drink. You have to organize with your friends in order to buy different types of alcohol. “Don’t forget to buy some spare alcohol” so what kind of alcohol you will buy for the guest, it depends on their cultures such as, Thai loves whiskey, Chinese loves beer, Western loves vodka and Australian loves most of the kinds.
9) Mixer and Ice
Don’t forget about these small stuffs, they can ruin your party if you don’t have enough of them.
10) Equipment is well prepared
In this case, it means all needed equipment for your party such as drinking equipment and music equipment such as wine glasses, speaker, prepared music, toilet paper and mattresses.
11) Set up the house
Cleaning the house is a good thing to do because it can be the first impression for the guests who come here for the first time. Moreover, you can decorate your house to make it looks more interesting due to the “event” such as Halloween, Valentine or Birthday party.
12) Dress code
This step is not necessary but in some cases it is necessary if you want to make your party looks more awesome especially in western culture and Here “ PERTH”. People love to dress out guys!!
13) Music
This is one of the most important things for the night. How best everything is prepared, SUCK music will KILL all best things away. Prepare music before hand, try to have different styles of music to match the particular moments such as soft music for evening time, and then move to R&B for the night after that we can move to hip-hop and house when everyone is getting drunk. Moreover, try to choose top hit songs for each category to make sure that most of your fiends can sing along and enjoy the songs.
14) Set up some RULES
Guess that you guys don’t want someone throw up and fight in your house do you? So, tell your friends about these things before they got drunk. Let them know where is the toilet or the shortcut way to the balcony or some places that they can throw up. For fighting issue, ok we have to understand that drinking can cause some violent behaviors; you have to let your friends know that they will be banned from the party if they behave like shit.
15) Drinking games
Games are needed to make a party become hotter. There might be someone who starts to get bored or just stands still with the boring face. Let them play games and DRINK MORE! For the game itself, it depends on what kinds of game do you want to play. For my recommendation, CARDs and DICEs are the best game ever.
16) Find the place for them to sleep
There would be some guests that they will not go back home for sure which mean you have to provide them the place to sleep. My suggestion, buy some secondhand mattresses for solve this case. It’s definitely helpful!!
